Hi Ceph Developers,

I’m Ayush Mittal, a Computer Science student with experience in C++, Python, _javascript_, GDB Debugging and Unit Testing Frameworks like GTest. I have a strong interest in distributed systems and storage technologies, and I’m currently exploring Ceph as part of my preparation for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) 2025.

I’ve been going through Ceph’s developer documentation and GitHub issues, and I’d love to contribute. Could you suggest some beginner-friendly tasks or areas where I can start? Additionally, are there any specific Ceph subsystems that would be a good fit for GSoC?

Looking forward to learning and contributing to Ceph!

Best regards,
Ayush Mittal
