Re: Updating ceph to pacific and quince

Hello again guys,

In the end, I've decided to do it manually. I know it's more tedious, but I control every step I take. The migration between Octopus and Pacific went without any problems. However, I now see that the monitors, at least, are using leveldb:

cephmon01:~ # cat /var/lib/ceph/mon/ceph-cephadm/kv_backend
leveldb

The OSDs, I believe, are running rocksdb:

cephosd22:~ # ceph daemon osd.73 config show| grep -i RocksDB
    "bluestore_kvbackend": "rocksdb",
    "bluestore_rocksdb_cf": "true",
    "bluestore_rocksdb_cfs": "m(3) p(3,0-12) O(3,0-13)=block_cache={type=binned_lru} L P",
    "bluestore_rocksdb_options": "compression=kNoCompression,max_write_buffer_number=4,min_write_buffer_number_to_merge=1,recycle_log_file_num=4,write_buffer_size=268435456,writable_file_max_buffer_size=0,compaction_readahead_size=2097152,max_background_compactions=2,max_total_wal_size=1073741824",
    "bluestore_rocksdb_options_annex": "",
    "debug_rocksdb": "4/5",
    "filestore_omap_backend": "rocksdb",

Is there any way to migrate the monitors?"
