Travel to the U.S. from countries in or near the Arabian Peninsula has returned to pre-pandemic levels, but testing for Middle East Respiratory Syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) has not.
Among 1,685 sudden unexpected infant death cases in Georgia during 2013–2022, a nursing pillow was found in the sleep space of 84 (5%) infants. Among these, approximately 80% who died with a nursing pillow present were younger than 4 months old, including one third of whom were 1 month old.
Almost 7% of U.S. workers experienced high levels of economic hardship (the inability to meet basic needs) in 2022-2023.
