That brings me to my main reason for reaching out.
I’d love some guidance, mentorship, or a roadmap on how to start this transition. Specifically:

  * What should I learn first? Are there any key tutorials or
    beginner-friendly resources?

For a few months, I would suggest a multiboot or using a linux VM to test everything out.

  * How do you handle common tasks like file management, software
installation, and system settings with a screen reader?

If you are comfortable using the CLI, one possibility would be to use a DE only for web browsing and e-mail.

Linux is simply a server with a desktop environment ontop of it!

  * Any must-know keyboard shortcuts or accessibility hacks?

You know the CLI!
