Hi.

Working on a few test web projects/apps. Normally, using a test remote distance with the actual ipAdress is ok. However, a few test apps appear to require/specify setting up actual sub-domains.

I'm considering setting up test "domain" for this purpose.

So, looking for someone skilled in this area that I can talk to on this process.

dns
cname/a recs
cloudflare/etc..
sub domain setup
ddos/security
etc..

I'm also posting this on a few different threads/areas. I'd rather find a skilled person, as simply doing the vids/AI/sites might not get me what I want. Talking to someone is a better/easier process.

thanks

Protecting a web application is best done via authentication, either via HTTP AUTH, or in the application itself.  IP/DNS filters can be bypassed if someone gains access to the necessary network.

Whether the application is run in the main vhost or another is not that important.
