I recently bought some stuff from Newegg. Now when I get an email announcing the deliver of something I get the email but a couple of minutes later I get a popup on my screen containing: Newegg Logo, "Hi There!" "You have unread messages, please check on Newegg.com" Running Fedora... $ uname -a Linux lilith 6.15.9-201.fc42.x86_64 #1 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Sat Aug 2 11:37:34 UTC 2025 x86_64 GNU/Linux I use Firefox and Thunderbird. I am running Xfce4 on X (not Wayland). So, how the Heck can Newegg access my system and present the popup? Its creepy as Heck. Thanks.
