Watching it boot, it shows some lines about vconsole, and just sits 
there for a long time. Then has a lot of lines with dracut saying it 
isn't finding the  uuids?

The image from the /dev/sdb disk to the /dev/nvme disk is via dd, so 
all the uuids are exactly the same.
blkid confirms the same uuids, but slightly different format from 
the fstab to the blkid.

Drops to the debug prompt to enter the root password, and then 
shows the /root directory as default.

don't see anything mounted except the /root directory, so probable 
mounts / but nothing else showed up.
