Do a bit of searching for:

   fedora automounting udev rules

and ignore the AI results, there's every chance that they're completely
wrong, yet presented as if it were an expert answer.

Here's one example, not that I offer any endorsement of its advice
(right at the top of the page):

https://www.reddit.com/r/Fedora/comments/1h1th7v/fedora_41_automount_of_external_usb_drive_is/

There's probably a better way of doing it than modifying *that*
/usr/lib... file (which will probably get reverted as some future dnf
update.

Lower down that page it does explain some reasoning behind it
(allegedly increased security), but that seems rather lame (it's only
Linux file systems on a hard drive that aren't auto-mounted, other ones
can be, *and* they *can* have risky contents). And, as people have
found out, a linux-formated USB flash drive can be automounted, and can
be more of a security risk than a hard drive (let's face it, it's a far
less noticeable thing of someone plugging a tiny thing into a port than
a hard drive on a cable).

On a system in your own home, most of those security concerns are moot.
The biggest risk to a home computer is the owner, themselves.

So, if your need is that your home PC can boot up and automatically
mount your USB storage device without your hand-holding the process,
have at it and configure your system in the way that you want.
