Hi guys. I've just lost _scrolling_ with my keyboard's middle button - lost electricity twice in succession, weird cause it would be, but can't thing of anything else. Although there is nothing wrong physically with the key/button - still can paste with it, also, I have a few of these "Lenovo ThinkPad Compact Keyboard with TrackPoint" - scrolling (also zooming in/out) is no longer "available" With Gnome's tweaks, "Scrolling Method' I have had to "Default" but also now tried "On Buttong Down" - to no avail. all thoughts & suggestion much appreciated - on how to "fix" it back. many thanks, L.
If you are using Fedora 42, and when you type $ rpm -q libinput and if it returns libinput-1.28.901-1.fc42.x86_64 then this is almost likely the cause which many people are reporting similar issues: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2379768 (and I've hit the same issue) Try upcoming libinput-1.28.901-2.fc42.x86_64 which is working for me: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2025-66f4317c9c Regards, Mamoru -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
