What MS used to release was an Electron app, which is a bundle of Chrome and the client-side content and scripting (similar to other "desktop apps" like Slack and Discord ship). Running it as a desktop app from Chrome/chromium is almost the same; the biggest difference is that "installing" a Chrome web app does not allow for notification tray access, that's only available when bundled as an Electron app. It's a really dumb and annoying decision from Google. -- Chris Adams <linux@xxxxxxxxxxx> -- _______________________________________________ users mailing list -- users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to users-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
