However, I noticed that these instructions appear to be for filesystems that use btfrs. What do I do if I have a ext4 filesystem? At a guess, just leave out the line that creates a BTRFS subvolume and do everything else the same. The important thing is to create a contiguous swapfile with reserved space, which is what mkswap does.
