I *finally* convinced one person to stop installing random things, to say no to various extra add-ons, and pay some heed to security. They had called me to fix several problems on their system. One was a momentary pop-up of two naked big hairy guys, every time they logged in. I had an audience that day, and lots of things that required reboots between fixing them and the next thing.
