Since `kernel-redhat.changelog` is okay to include we can use what I originally had. What you've suggested works (it also includes the `kernel-redhat.changelog`) but it copies the empty kernel-redhat.changelog into the srpm instead of a copy of the `kernel.changelog` file. I've restored my original change since that seems to be okay now.
