Fedora 42: Akregator internal browser does not work

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi

I'm having a severe issue with Akregator on Fedora 42. The internal browser does not work. The browser area does not display anything valid and the whole area just does not refresh and shows the pixels from any other application window that was on top of Akregator window (I hope I am making sense here). It has been like this ever since I installed Fedora 42.

Most applicable packages from "qt5-qtweb*" and "qt6-qtweb*" are installed. But I see that there's an installed package named "qt5-qtwebkit", but there is no package named "qt6-qtwebkit".

Installed packages
qt5-qtwebchannel.x86_64          5.15.17-1.fc42          updates
qt5-qtwebengine.x86_64           5.15.18-4.fc42          updates
qt5-qtwebkit.x86_64              5.212.0-0.92alpha4.fc42 updates
qt6-qtwebchannel.x86_64          6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebchannel-devel.x86_64    6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebengine.x86_64           6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebengine-devel.x86_64     6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebengine-devtools.x86_64  6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebsockets.x86_64          6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebsockets-devel.x86_64    6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebview.x86_64             6.9.0-1.fc42            updates
qt6-qtwebview-devel.x86_64       6.9.0-1.fc42            updates

Any clues?

Thanks,

Syam
