Ooh, do you get this box?
That's the one.
I get these all the time from VMWare Horizon Client (err, Omnissa).
I'll be running fine for a while, then it will appear (I _think_ it
happens after I press the Ctrl key, but not the first time, just that
Ctrl is the trigger). I can hit Cancel however many times I want it it
reappears continuously.
Not using VMware (nor any VM) when this happens. If I click Cancel it
goes away. If I click OK it also goes away. It's not entirely clear
what the actual effect is. I'd need to do more testing, but that's one
reason I'd like to know what's producing it.

Hi Patrick,
I'm playing King Arthur under steam in both Fedora and Windows 11
and playing the same instance of the game in both as I use the same
account in steam (when I access the game I continue from where I left
off irrespective of whether the game was played in Windows or Linux) and
I use KDE in Fedora, using both the mouse/keyboard or an Xbox controller
(for some reason the xbox button usage is different under Windows and
Linux but I'm not sure why). So far I have never had any input control
popup from the game, steam or linux.
The screenshot supplied looks like a similar system to what we use
at work that pops up on our laptops when the support guys we raise
issues with are requesting to be given control of the laptop so that
they can do things without having to give us instructions on what they
want, although the screenshot is more detailed than what we get, which
happens after they have remote connected to our machines via a token
exchange.
regards,
Steve
