I'm happy to announce that We have approved some new members in our sysadmin-main group: carlwgeorge - Carl George gwmngilfen - Greg Sutcliffe james - James Antill The sysadmin-main group is the group which has 'root' access to the infrastructure. With only a few exceptions, they have access to everything. People are added to this group after being nominated by an existing member and approved by consensus. This nomination usually takes place after the person has been around in the community for some time doing good work in general and also have completed some larger 'project' in fedora infrastructure showing that they can manage a complex deployment. Carl has been working on EPEL, and has completed rolling out EPEL10 along with all the changes and differences around that. He's shown that he's careful and responsive and can roll out something like EPEL10. Greg has been around only a short time as a full time sysadmin, but his help has been very welcome in setting up hardware in the new datacenter. He managed firmware upgrades and server setup there and will hopefully use his powers to help the datacenter migration. James has been in fedora for ages, but has been helping out with sysadmin administation a good deal of late. He managed the iptables to nftables transition and did so in such a way that there were almost no problems doing so. I'd like to also list the other sysadmin-main members in case they can assist with anything in Fedora infrastructure: abompard adamwill darknao dkirwan humaton jnsamyak kevin mizdebsk nb nphilipp pingou praiskup ryanlerch zlopez They have proved their dedication, trustworthiness, and ability. Congrats! Use your powers for good! :) kevin -- _______________________________________________ infrastructure mailing list -- infrastructure@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to infrastructure-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/infrastructure@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
